    Hi there,
I’m trying to list on Amazon.com.au and am receiving the following two errors:

99011 Warning The value in the “main_offer_image” (https://static.comicbookshop.co.nz/uploads/2013/06/245-NM-e1513909325624.jpg) field was ignored because it is invalid or conflicts with the value in another field.: [offering_condition = “new”].

300403 Error We could not access the media at URL https://static.comicbookshop.co.nz/uploads/2013/06/245-NM-e1513909325624.jpg. A 403 HTTP status code was received. Ensure that the server or firewall configuration is not blocking Amazon servers from accessing the media.

Due to these issues the product is marked as failed in the listings tab on WordPress, however the listing has appeared on Amazon… with the image…?
This being the case, I guess it’s kind of working.
My concern is if I upgraded to WP-Lister Pro for Amazon so I can sync any sales, I’m assuming the failed result on WordPress would mean the listings / sales won’t be synced.

I use WP Rocket, Wordfence and Cloudflare.
Are there any settings that need to be setup to allow access to the Amazon servers?
I have tried listing with these deactivated though, so I’m not entirely sure they are the cause of the issue.

Any help would be very much appreciated ??

    Kind regards,
    JP

    Hello @japenz

If the listing shows as failed in WP-Lister then WP-Lister would not sync the sales from Amazon for the failed listings. But only Pro can sync stock from sales, and this forum is for WP-Lister Lite for Amazon, so if you are using pro, going forward you should contact us through our support form.

If those plugins were deactivated then I would think that they have nothing to do with the issue.

99011 Warning The value in the “main_offer_image” (https://static.comicbookshop.co.nz/uploads/2013/06/245-NM-e1513909325624.jpg) field was ignored because it is invalid or conflicts with the value in another field.: [offering_condition = “new”].

It seems as though Amazon is throwing this error because your image size is not at least 1000px on it’s longest side. I know that seems weird because the error is stating that it is due to you setting the condition as new. But I have seen some odd errors returned from Amazon relating to images and many times it is due to images not being 1000px or larger. So I would start by making that image 1000px on it’s longest side in the WC product then try submitting it back to Amazon.

Have you tried submitting to Amazon again? The image seems to load fine on my end. So if Amazon is receiving a 403 error then that would mean that your server is not allowing the connection between your site and Amazon and you would need to contact your host about that.

In the future, I would recommend you follow the following article to send our support desk a feed that we can examine and reply back to you: There were some errors when processing my feed. Can you help me fix them?

    Kind regards,
    John

    Hi John,
Thank you for getting back to me ??

I’ve tried listing with a larger image but it hasn’t made any difference to the errors I’m receiving.

I spoke with Amazon.com.au and they suggested that as the main_image_url and the main_offer_image are the same, this may be causing the conflict.

I’ve sent the feed to you via the support tab.

I’ve spoken with my host (siteground) and they couldn’t see any blocks from their end though mentioned I have bot blocking set up in my .htaccess file.
I’ve checked for AMZNKAssocBot and removed it from the list but am still having the same error.
Can you let me know the Amazon bot name(s) so I can double check they are not being blocked please?
Also should I explicitly allow the Amazon bot(s).

Thanks again for all your help.

    Kind regards,
    JP

    Hi John,
Quick update for you… images are now being uploaded successfully! Woohoo!
Turns out it was a block on the Amazon bot, for test purposes I just deleted all bot blocking in my .htaccess file. Now for the fun part of going through it all and trying to work out what was causing the issue haha!

With this error fixed, listing are now coming back as ‘online’, I am however still receiving this warning:

The value in the “main_offer_image” (https://static.comicbookshop.co.nz/uploads/2013/06/256-VF%2B-e1518034843142.jpg) field was ignored because it is invalid or conflicts with the value in another field.: [offering_condition = “new”].

Any thoughts as to what might be causing this other than the image sizes?
As mentioned the Amazon guy thought it might be due to the main_image_url and the main_offer_image url’s being the same, is this something I can change in the settings to test?

Thanks yet again for your help ??

    Kind regards,
    JP

    Hello again John,
Okay so I’m now able to upload images, but am having all kinds of problems.

I managed to arrange a UPC exemption due to comic books not using a UPC format that Amazon accepts, however Amazon is taking the vast majority of listings I try to post and applying them to ASIN’s already in their system. This results in my images not being used (images that are used aren’t the correct ones) and product titles being changed to match the ASIN’s Amazon is matching them to… damn it! lol!

I’ve been receiving the following error code:

SKU XMENV1139, Missing Attributes standard_product_id. SKU XMENV1139 doesn’t match any ASINs. Make sure that all standard product ids (such as UPC, ISBN, EAN, or JAN codes) are correct. To create a new ASIN, include the following attributes: standard_product_id. Feed ID: 0.

This would suggest I can create new ASIN’s when listing but that I need to put ‘Feed ID: 0’ in the ‘standard_product_id’ section… where’s the standard_product_id section please?

Looking at the profile (using bookloader (AU) template) I can see Product ID (external_product_ID) and Product ID Type (external_product_ID_type), but no standard options… am I missing something?

    Kind regards,
    JP

    Hello @japenz

Nice work so far ?? – You will get there!

This would suggest I can create new ASIN’s when listing but that I need to put ‘Feed ID: 0’ in the ‘standard_product_id’ section… where’s the standard_product_id section please?

You need to follow this guide if you’re brand exempt and allowed to omit UPC codes (this is to list new items to Amazon’s catalog and not match to other seller’s listings): I have my brand registered with Amazon and am allowed to omit UPCs / EANs when listing new products – but I still get errors when submitting a feed.

Looking at the profile (using bookloader (AU) template) I can see Product ID (external_product_ID) and Product ID Type (external_product_ID_type), but no standard options… am I missing something?

The “standard_product_id” is the “Product ID” field in the listing profile but since your brand is exempt from providing product ID’s you don’t need to provide an actual product ID like a UPC or EAN, instead you should simply follow the guide linked above.

    Kind regards,
    John

    Hi John,
    Thanks for help again ??
Unfortunately I’m still getting the same issues, I’ve sent the feed to you via the support button.

Is it possible to set specific brands in the profiles / templates area?
I’m wondering if this might be the problem as my exemption is for the following brands:

The UPC exemption is successfully set up and is valid until 2018-05-03.
    Brand name –
    ‘Marvel Comics’
    ‘DC Comics’
    ‘Image Comics’

    Kind regards,
    JP

    Hello again John,
    We’re getting there mate!

So it turns out there was a glitch with the exemption on Amazon’s end haha!

After checking the details I find that there are some technical glitch in the GTIN exemption provided earlier because of which you were unable to list. I have provided you GTIN exemption once again under all 3 brand names – Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Image Comics.

I request you to try re-listing your products as guided in the previous repose. Kindly follow the steps below:

Please delete the existing listings from your Inventory first and to list your products again, make sure of the following things:

    1. Leave Product Id and Product id type column blank.
    2. Provide the different Part number whats available on your products to avoid mapping to existing products.
    3. Make sure to provide “Marvel Comics” , “DC Comics” or “Image Comics” value under Publisher/Manufacturer column.

With the brand name entered in the Publisher section of the profile I’m now able to upload new listings.

However although the images are being uploaded I’m still receiving the following error:

The value in the “main_offer_image” (https://static.comicbookshop.co.nz/uploads/2013/07/583-4th-Print-NM–e1513923416817.jpg) field was ignored because it is invalid or conflicts with the value in another field.: [offering_condition = “new”].

And my listings are going up without images on the Amazon.com.au front end (eg. Amazing Spider Man Vol 1 #583, 4th Print, Near Mint- 9.2), even though they are in the product ‘Images’ section on the back end.
I also see the ‘No image available’ thumbnail on products in the ‘Manage Inventory’ area of Amazon Seller Central.

Seems I just needed to give Amazon some time to get all it’s ducks in a row as the listings now have images! Woohoo! ??

Does this mean I shouldn’t be concerned with the error message, or do you think there might be an easy fix I’m can implement.

I’m now going to try and upload a selection of comic to Amazon and see how we get on, as things stand I think we might be okay ??

I’ve submitted the latest ‘Listings Data Feed’ to you for review (in case there’s something can be done about the error regarding the image urls).

    Kind regards,
    JP

    Hello @japenz

Is it possible to set specific brands in the profiles / templates area?
I’m wondering if this might be the problem as my exemption is for the following brands:

Yes, you can enter the brand value in the listing profile. Based on your most recent message it sounds like you already figured out how to do that. If not, you can locate the “Brand” field in the listing profile and enter the brand there.

Does this mean I shouldn’t be concerned with the error message, or do you think there might be an easy fix I’m can implement.

Well, that is not an error, it is a warning simply notifying you that one of the images was ignored. But if the images are showing in the proper locations then it would be okay to ignore the message. As I mentioned to you in your ticket you sent to us, I have never seen that warning before and to be honest, it doesn’t make much sense to me either. I would recommend you continue working with Amazon seller support to figure out that warning and if you do find out the issue, I’d like to know what fixed the problem.

I’ve submitted the latest ‘Listings Data Feed’ to you for review (in case there’s something can be done about the error regarding the image urls).

    I responded to your ticket.

    Kind regards,
    John

Glad I stumbled across your posts JapeNZ! Looks like we have a very similar setup (WP Rocket, Wordfence and Cloudflare on Siteground with blocked bots in htaccess!)…

Hopefully this fixes my image error too =)

    Cheers!

@japenz – did you figure out which bot was causing the issue?
