    I am seeing multiple error messages on all sites running the CleanTalk plugin.

    One site has this error message when I tried to check the connection to API servers – I have highlighted the part that concerns me:

    I have xmlrpc calls blocked on my sites for security reasons, and xmlrpc disabled on all WordPress sites. Here’s an article that explains why: https://www.hostinger.com/tutorials/xmlrpc-wordpress

    Does Cleantalk functionality require xmlrpc?

    We do not use xmlrpc. We have been reported with the same issue not long ago.

    Please, install the dev version and tell me if this helps or not.

    Here is a guide for you:
    1. Go to WordPress Administrator Panel —> Plugins.
    2. Find the plugin “Spam Protection by CleanTalk” —> Deactivate.
    3. After the automatic page refreshing find the plugin again “Spam Protection by CleanTalk” —> Delete.
    4. Confirm “Yes, delete these files”.
    5. Download the plugin archive from the link above.
    6. Go to Plugins —> Add New —> Upload Plugin.
    7. Choose the downloaded archive and press “Install Now”.
