• Hello guys! I have a big problem uploading a premium theme for my site. When i go to Appearance > Themes > Install themes > Upload and then select the zip file of the premium theme that i want to upload. I keep on receiving this error:

    Unpacking the package…

Incompatible Archive. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

What does this mean? and how can I resolve this problem? Is there any other method i can use in order for me to upload the premium theme i purchased and have it installed for my site? Can anyone please help me with this issue? Thanks…

  • It looks like a bad zip file, download it again or if you have ftp unzip the theme local and upload the inner folder via ftp to /wp-content/themes/.

Alternative is to repack the theme, extract the files:
Open the folders until you can see the files and folder, like images, index.php, page.php etc:

Select all the files and rezip the files, select all right mouse and send to the compressed (zipped) folder

rename the zip to the themes folder name and try to upload it again.

I am getting the following error, i can’t get the theme to work on my website even though it seems to be there, i just can’t find it.

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the theme…

    Destination folder already exists. /usr/home/woodstrophyexp/public_html/woodstrophyexports.co.za/wp-content/themes/woods_trophy_exports/

    Theme install failed.
