• I followed the directions on how to change WP directories. I want WP to be my homepage at https://www.crazedmom.net and not at https://www.crazedmom.net/wordpress.
Now I get the following errors:
Warning: main(./wordpress/wp-blog-header.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/crazedmo/public_html/index.php on line 4

Warning: main(./wordpress/wp-blog-header.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/crazedmo/public_html/index.php on line 4

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required ‘./wordpress/wp-blog-header.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/crazedmo/public_html/index.php on line 4

I AM LOST! thanks for you help.

  • So you moved all of the files and changed both of the URLs in the Options? Because it is trying to find /wordpress/blog-header.php still, so something didn’t get changed, since it is still looking for a wordpress folder.

    Actually the correct order is:
    1. change the URIs in Options
    2. move the files
Otherwise you have to go to the DB to change the home and site_url values.

Well I didn’t mean it had to be in that order, just that both need to be done.

    Yep, I did that.

    The WP URI is: https://crazedmom.net/WordPress
and the blog address is: https://crazedmom.net

Then I moved index.php to the root and changed that one line of code to point to the wordpress directory.’

Should both addresses be the same?
