errors in diagnostics : “Temp dir readable” and “Temp dir writeable”

    Hello,

    since the last update, I have two diagnostic errors involving “Temp dir readable” and “Temp dir writeable”.
    Except that I haven’t touched anything and I don’t understand where these errors are coming from… is it possible to get some help?

    Hey @jeanphilippegrasse,

    thanks for reaching out!

    You’ve upgraded from a pretty old version of Simply Static, right?
    We don’t store the temporary files inside the plugin’s directory since.. 3.0. ??

    You can quickly fix that by going to Simply Static -> Settings -> Utilities -> Migrate Settings and clicking the button called “Migrate Settings.”

    It will set the temporary files directory to the new location.

    You can also change the path manually in Simply Static -> Settings -> Misc -> Temporary File Directory.

    The new default location for these files is in wp-content/uploads/simply-static/temp-files/
