errors importing from Blogger

  • Hi! I get the following warnings/errors when I try to import my Blogger blog:

    Warning: curl_setopt() [function.curl-setopt]: CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION cannot be activated when in safe_mode or an open_basedir is set in /home/christy/public_html/wp-admin/import/blogger.php on line 133

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/christy/public_html/wp-admin/import/blogger.php:133) in /home/christy/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable-functions.php on line 272

    I’d really love to have my old info. Can anyone help me fix these errors somehow? Thanks so much!!!

    I got it figured out!

    Christy, how did you figure out this error? I’m having the same issues with importing for a clients blogger account.

    I have the same problem:

    please help guys, I want to import my old posts from blogger, please guys.

    I hate it when this happens. I’m in the same boat too ??

    Well, if you’re seeing this error:

    CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION cannot be activated when in safe_mode or an open_basedir is set in

    Get a hold of your hosting support and tell them you need CURL turned on. It’s a service/feature/thingy that needs to be activated server-side.

    I’ve contacted my host and they’re saying that they’ve turned CURL on…but I’m still getting the error.

    Anyone know how I can verify if safe_mode is on or the open_basedir thing?
