Errors from Yoast Premium Upgrade

    Ran into plugin errors after upgrading to Yoast Premium. Was informed from Yoast support (link below) that an update on your end was to be made to get these errors fixed:

    Deprecated: automatic_feed_links is deprecated since version 3.0.0! Use add_theme_support( ‘automatic-feed-links’ ) instead. in /home2/catwithmonocle/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4859

    Fatal error: Cannot declare class WPSEO_Meta_Columns, because the name is already in use in /home2/catwithmonocle/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/admin/class-meta-columns.php on line 15

    Any idea if there’s a fix and when? My website is having performance issues and looking to get it back in action sooner than later.

    We already have an GitHub ticket regrading this issue and it will be resolved in upcoming plugin updates.

    Just noticed version 1.0.76.1 went up and made the update but still getting errors. Any idea how to get this fixed? I can’t make any posts or edit them because of this.

    Can you please clear the cache and check once whether having the same issue or not. Then do let us know.

    Cleared cache. Tried a new browser. Same issues.

    Also, I logged off my site and now I can’t get back in.

    Then, I realized I still had the debug turned on on my wp-config.php. Took that out and things look to be back in order. Apologize the confusion and appreciate the update!

    SOLUTION: via email from Yoast. Install and activate free version before activating the Premium version of Yoast. Exactly the opposite of the instructions for installation, but it does work.
