Errors and Warnings on all backups

    Hi,

    I installed BackWPup last week to perform a daily backup using WordPress Cron scheduler. Since then, this shows daily errors and warnings in the logs as summarised below:

    21Feb – 10 errors and 11 warnings
    20Feb – 5 errors and 5 warnings
    19Feb – 3 errors and 8 warnings
    18Feb – 3 errors and 6 warnings
    17Feb – 2 errors and 3 warnings

    How do I see what the errors / warnings are? How do I fix this? Has this backed up by database/files or not?

    Hi @clarerolston
    The error log file is located in your BackWPUp -> Logs.
    give me your latest log file and I will try to check the errors and warnings for you ??

    I think there is a problem when BackWPUp tries to send the backup file to your email.
    Maybe that file too large.
    Could you please try to run a local backup ( save the backup to your website ) to see if it works?

    Hi, I have changed over the backups not to go to email but to go to a folder (on the website). After running a manual backup today, I got 2 warnings in my log. This is a copy of this.

    Please try the following:
    – go to BackWPup > Settings > Jobs, try to set Maximum Script Execution Time setting to about 25 seconds.
    – go to BackWPUp -> Settings -> Job tab -> Reduce server load and choose medium and then try again

    This warning means your job was not restarted at the right time, normally your backup will still be created correctly.
    If so, you can ignore it ??
