Errors after wordpress 3.7.1

    Amazing plugin, love it to bits. Unfortunately since the update to WordPress 3.7.1 it seems to be broken. First thing I noticed was the <div>%HOURS_TWOWEEKS% hrs / 2 wks</div> line of code only shows 0.0 hrs / 2 wks and then I noticed the game list was not updating, I compared it to my page at steampowered.com, although it shows the 5 most recent games and times it is from before the wordpress update. Is there going to be an update released soon? thanks.

    thanks for the report. i haven’t updated to 3.7 yet, but when i do, i’ll make a fix if needed. will be soon.

    in the meantime, you might try removing the widget and adding a new steam widget to your sidebar. if there’s a problem with the settings or cache, this will reset it.

    Cheers for the quick reply. already removed the widget from the sidebar and setup again, no difference.

    i’m not seeing a problem with the plugin in 3.7 so far. i can confirm the 0.0 hrs played a week problem, although that appears to be originating from steam. i expect that they’ll figure it out and fix it eventually, but if not, i may incorporate a workaround into the plugin.

    i’ll continue to keep an eye on the plugin, but so far it looks 3.7 compatible.

    Snake, I apologize for pointing the finger so quickly. Your widget works like a charm with WP 3.7.1. I just spent the last few days getting to understand the Steam xml data file etc. and you are correct the issue is a Steam one.
