Hello, both of of my websites where I’ve installed SiteKit were fetching data and working perfectly fine.

After updating 2 hours ago, all I get are errors in Analytics 4, search console, and the server providing an invalid response.

    Screenshot here.

How can I revert back to the previous version? My hosting provider is not helping and the moment I try to disable the plugin or access “Plugins”, I get a 503 service error, which I only started getting after I updated SiteKit.

Any help with this would be extremely appreciated!

Hello @activepen thanks for getting in touch. Sorry to hear you’re facing issues after updating to the latest version of Site Kit. I’d be happy to help look into this for you. Before reverting to a previous version, I’d like to get some more information from you and perform some troubleshooting steps. Please can you share the following:

    1. Your?Site Health information. You can?use this form?to share privately if preferred.?
    2. Is this happening only when trying to access the plugin and plugins page or in other areas as well?
    3. Do you see any other console errors alongside the 503 page error?
    4. Do you encounter the same when following the troubleshooting steps here and in troubleshooting mode?

Any screenshots or recordings would also be helpful if possible. You can share these in the form with your Site Health. Let me know if you have any questions about the above.

    Hi Adam,

Thank you for these steps. I’ve been trying to access Site Health but it’s giving me a 503 error every single time. I’ll fill out the form and share all the details you requested asap.

    Hi again, Adam!

I just submitted the form — was finally able to access Site health info in recovery mode.

    Answering the other questions below:

    1. Is this happening only when trying to access the plugin and plugins page or in other areas as well?
      >> When refreshing my site while being logged into Wordpess and every time I wanted to access the plugins section. (SiteKit at the time was returning only red errors everywhere, as you can see here. )
    2. Do you see any other?console errors?alongside the 503 page error?
      >> Yes, added those that I got via the form. Have also looped in Thrive Themes because the fatal error seems to be coming from the theme.
    3. Do you encounter the same when following the troubleshooting steps?here?and in troubleshooting mode?
      >> I wasn’t able to test this out because I didn’t have any way to access my dashboard.

    Thank you for your help!

@activepen Thanks for the response and all the information you have shared which is very helpful. Good catch with the theme conflict! I can’t see anything specifically related to Site Kit from the information shared but it would be interesting to see if you encounter the same when reverting back to the previous plugin version.

To revert back a version go to this page, scroll to the bottom and select the 1.108.0 version to download. You can then choose to add a new plugin on your site if that’s possible. Let me know if this helps to resolve any of the issues.

I’d also suggest checking in with your hosting provider to ensure that there are no issues on the hosting side that could be causing problems for your site.

    Hi Adam,

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. I just heard back from ThriveThemes and the issue seems to have been caused on their side. So it doesn’t seem to be a SiteKit issue, after all.

I’m still baffled about the red errors I got when I updated SiteKit — they disappeared and it all got back to normal shortly after you wrote last, so that remains a mystery.

Thank you very much for all your help and for looking into this! I really appreciate it!

    Warmly,
    Ralitsa
