    Hello,

As English is not my language I let my friend Google translate you, sorry if it is not very good either ??

First I’m happy to find a plugin that does not make me send my data elsewhere, thank you to create it.

I tested this plugin free version, I will definitely buy the premium version then if it works well.

Test of December 24 orders by check then manually validated do not appear in the report, is this normal?

With the update today (1.5.2) I have two error messages appear:

Warning: require_once(/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-eu-vat-compliance/rate-providers/base-xml.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-eu-vat-compliance/rate-providers/ecb.php on line 9

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-eu-vat-compliance/rate-providers/base-xml.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php5.3/lib/php’) in /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-eu-vat-compliance/rate-providers/ecb.php on line 9

    Best Regards
    Guy

    Good Evening,

In the standard tax table I changed the VAT rate for Denmark and France (5.5%)
In the VAT rate display ratio does not change. It is not very important.

At the same time I see the differences between the amount of details of the order and the VAT report. Rounding problem certainly.
In both cases it gives an incorrect calculation, so there is also a problem WooCommerce.

To try to make myself understood:

    Hi,

The VAT rate information in the report screen is intended to show you the (believed) current VAT rate for that country. It is not intended to show what you actually entered. Hence, it does not change.

I could not reproduce the rounding issue – I created a 2.45 product, with a 5.5% VAT rate, and everything displays correctly throughout – 2.45 and 0.13 are used everywhere. So, this is puzzling. What is your WooCommerce version, and what payment gateway did you use? Also – what are your rounding settings in WooCommerce? (WooCommerce -> Settings -> Tax). I suspect that the problem depends on these rounding settings.

Note that the 2.45 + 0.13 = 2.59 on the left hand of the screenshot is entirely WooCommerce – there’s no involvement of the plugin in that part of the display or the calculation. So, nothing I do in this plugin will fix that! (In this part, this plugin only records – it never modifies any of WC’s information).

The plugin does store the same data as WooCommerce, including all the decimal places, so, I think you don’t have to worry about incorrectly stored data at this stage. The data is all stored with full accuracy. On my side, it’ll just be the way that rounding is handled in the reporting that I will need to look at, once I can reproduce it.

Yes I suspect that the problem is with WooCommerce, what surprises me is that the plugin resume different amount than WooCommerce.

My shop is set to display the prices including tax, the problem may come from there. The price is displayed with the Belgian VAT, the exact calculation is made to order according to the chosen country.

For my test I am using the latest version of Worpress and WooCommerce, payment by check or bank transfer as payment method.

    Hi,

I want to buy the Premium version, but on your shop there is no field to enter my VAT number, can I expect on January 1st?

    Hi Guy,

Yes. There is no VAT until Jan 1st. The Premium version is sold from a UK shop that, under existing VAT law (before 1st Jan), is not liable to VAT (because the UK VAT threshold is high). So, buy today, and there’s no VAT to pay.

This is also stated on the invoice you’ll get (today), when you purchase, so you’ll also have a valid VAT receipt.

    Hi,

Regarding the rounding issue, please can you confirm:

    1) Your setting for rounding in WooCommerce -> Settings -> Rounding.

    2) Your exact WooCommerce version.

    Hi David,

    1) With the selected case rounded or rounded box unchecked the problem is the same.

    2) WooCommerce 2.2.10 – WordPress 4.1

I did some further testing, it is WooCommerce who made the mistake, apparently at the time of the total.

As I have more urgent to do I leave this problem aside for now.

    Guy
