Errors

  • Nice idea. Could be very usable plugin, but has several errors, so functionality is broken. (WordPress 6.7.1, Block editor, theme ‘2024’).

    1. Settings appears in Settings->Media, not as your manual says Settings->Writing (just confusing, not an error). (Settings: Block Editor: ON, Classic Editor: OFF. Posts: ON).
    2. On front end post page Slider initially works, but breaks after Slider’s left arrow is clicked after any right arrow click. After such a click, both arrows disappear. Right click works as expected.? In DOM, after left arrow click, both arrows get style=”…, display:none” and are gone, so Slider stops functioning (but click on image for original still works). When the display:none is deleted, the arrow(s) reappear and function, but till the next left arrow click.
    3. Browser reports errors on post page:? Uncaught ReferenceError: $galleryClassic is not defined … .block-editor-gallery-slider-front.min.js:1:3364

    Is ‘classic’ option and wp < 5.8 creating more ‘incompatibilities’ than compatibilities? ??

    Thank you for the thoroughout review. I will definitely test and fix the issues you listed and release the fixed version as soon as possible.

    This isn’t one my primary plugins so it usually falls behind on fixes. Developing other popular plugins that I have usually have a higher priority.
