    Hello Praveen- Nice to see you back around.

    Sorry to say, I am close to moving to a different plugin (not my choice) because CVG stopped working for me recently.

    For one, I was (and still am) getting a Error#2035 when I tried to view a video from a desktop (both from within the admin and on the front end.) It was still working on mobile but not on a desktop. Seemed to be a flash error.

    But now, since the recent update, I no longer have any galleries displaying on the front end. I believe it has to do with this a problem that came up 6 months ago. SOmeone posted a fix to remove the quotes from the shortcodes, which did get it working again. But I have put them back since the update and I am still not getting the galleries to view.

    I’ve always appreciated CVG. I don’t want to switch. But I’m at my wits end here. Don’t know if you can shed any light.

    Let me know.
    Thanks.

    OK. I was not able to edit/delete pass from post but I have now changed it so we’re good.

    Glad to get to the issue. Lame that Firefox is not playing nice.

    I found this:

    DO let me know.
    Thanks.

    Same issue on our website, I suggest we can use detective browser and only enable html5 for firefox, I have this problem a long time ago, hope Praveen update the plugin recently, then we can fix this issue

    @brown & Robin,

    Please check updated plugin 2.1. For youtube videos, a hack /fallback to youtube iframe is provided. On future upgrades, latest JW player will be used. Let me know if it works.

    Thanks Praveen update, but it is still not working, and it will show popup windows said “Error loading Youtube Video. Web Browser not supporting Flash video playback”, would you please check it? Thanks

    Sorry for the delay.

    Just checked and the hack does work and falls back to iframe in Firefox.

    However, all of the video descriptions are gone in the front end and the thumbs look strange with black on top and bottom.

    Not such a problem to have my people use Chrome or Safari but it is lame that Firefox is not playing nice.

    I’m staying with the older version for now.
    Hopefully the next update will sort it out.

    Still the best video plugin out there.

    @brown,

    Thanks for checking. The video description gone might be due to following – new option in gallery settings to enable video description. I’m looking for another release shortly. I will check the thumbs issue in that.

    I’m pretty sure that the enable video description was checked. Thanks for your work. Cheers.

    @brown,

    Please check latest plugin version and let me know if everything works fine.

    Sorry Praveen.

    With the latest update (2.2), the galleries on the front end disappeared.

    And when I try to view from the gallery page, there was an error:

    “Error setting up player: Invalid license key”

    If I can be of any help, let me know.

    @brown,

    License key issue since due to missing configuration of JW player 7. User need to register at JWPlayer website and get a key (free for non commercial purpose). This is mandatory for JWPlayer 7. Plugin changelog and overview menu has details on this. This need to be saved in Video Player Settings.

    Would like to look at other issue – galleries disappeared. Please share more information or url to check.
