Hmm, that is definitely not the default WordPress behavior. ???
Can you please clarify the following:
- Are you creating a “customer” role? Or does this happen for all user roles selected?
- Are you perhaps using any User role or Membership type plugins that may be causing this behavior?
- Are you seeing a field for entering a mobile number on the “Add new user” screen? This field isn’t default to WordPress so I’m curious if that field is even showing up there.
I’d also like to take a closer look at your sites System Status Report. Hopefully it will provide some hints as to what may be causing this behavior. Can you please navigate to WooCommerce?→?Status. Select?Get system report
