ERROR: You cannot install a network of sites with your server address

Hello all! First time www.remarpro.com user. Thank you in advance for your support.

I am stuck:

In admin under Network Setup, I get this error:

ERROR: You cannot install a network of sites with your server address.
You cannot use port numbers such as :8888.

If I can not use port numbers, what am I supposed to use? For the new site I am creating, I have not purchased the domain. I use godaddy if that makes a difference.

I set up the multi-site WordPress setup via Bitnami WordPress multi-stack, so I can eventually build multiple different websites under different domains.

Any assistance from this point forward would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
