Error writing mail data to file

  • Hi
    To resolve an email sending limit imposed by my provider, I recently installed the plug SMTP Mailing Queue (Version 1.1.0) to use it in pair with pluggin subscribe2 (Version 10.21).

    When I try to send a test email in the queue, I got this error : Error writing mail data to file.

    My first reflex is put full acces on the folder smtp-mailing-queue and all subdirectory, but the problem still here.

    FYI: I’m using wordpress 4.8.6

    Someone have a solution to resolve this error ?

  • You can also check what username and group the folders belong to. If you uploaded the plugin via FTP or moved the folder using SSH it can copy it with the wrong username and group permissions.

    did you end up solving this issue? I am getting the same error
