This is the errors message I have:
(I’ve replaced the name by 88888888)

PHP Fatal error: Unknown: Failed opening required ‘/home/88888888/public_html/wordfence-waf.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/cpanel/ea-php56/root/usr/share/pear’) in Unknown on line 0

I’ve also this error when I try to see my site:
    HTTP ERROR 500

    This page does not work
    Can not process this request

I’ve followed the steps to put a new copy of WP files (keeping all info in wp-config.php) of course

I can only use FTP and cPanel Files manager. No access to my WP admin panel.

    Can you help me please?

    Thank you.

    Hi @sylvie2003,

Can you create the file /public_html/wordfence-waf.php if it does not exist?

If it does exist already, please delete it, and create it again. (Empty file)

After that, find the file .htaccess or .user.ini and search for any references to wordfence-waf.php, and delete them.

    Dave

After deleting Wordfence, there was no mention of Wordfence in .htaccess. I still had the error: Fatal error:

Unknown: Failed opening required ‘/home/xxxxxxx/WP-LC/wp-lc.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/remi/php70/root/usr/share/pear:/opt/remi/php70/root/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear:/usr/share/php’) in Unknown on line 0

Then I deleted the user.ini and php.ini files.

    That solved the problem.
