Error with Woocommerce and Nets Easy processing orders and gift cards

    Hi

    I’m developing this site through WordPress and I’m having troubles with orders being processed and payed when a gift card is being added to the order in some cases. I’ve read something concerning tax amounts and differences between calculations in terms of WooCommerce and Nets Easy. Do you have any inputs concerning this matter? We’ve had two customers the last 14 days running into problems when using a gift card.

    I’ve tried to use two gift cards myself and got the attached message. (the coupon being used is a secret one only for b2b-customers and partners I’ve used but this shouldn’t have any effect concerning the error).

    Could you help me out and maybe create a snippet with a code or something?

    Hi,

    Currently we have limited support for gift card plugins since each gift card plugin has their own way of modifying the order amount.

    Which gift card plugin are you using?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. I will take a look at this during next week.

    The issue is that every order line plus order total must be sent in to Nets. Since different gift card plugins deducts the gift card cvalue differently (there is no WooCommerce standard for this) we must add support for gift cards on a per-gift-card-plugin basis.

    Any news on this subject?
    If it’s easier than please suggest a plugin that is usable with Nets Easy.
    WP giftcard should be pretty basic though.

    No not yet I’m afraid. We have been backed up lately but hopefully they will be able to look at it this week. I will keep you posted.

    Can you please inform me of what to do? We’re still having issues with customers using NETS and now it’s been 5 weeks ago you’ve said that you would look into it.

    We will need to change the whole plugin very soon if this cannot be resolved..

    We are sorry for this delay but we are behind in our development schedule so we can not give you a date when this will be added to the plugin I’m afraid. It will be handled but we do not know when yet.

    Hi,

    From version 1.20.0 of Nets Easy for WooCommerce there is built in support for Gift Cards through YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards.
