Error with uploads (?)
-
Hello!
I just installed updraft on an existing website. I just wanted to run a backup and lock it. No Google. No Dropbox. Just backup.
It won’t complete. I have it set to debug and have a log. The log says “There were errors in the uploads, so the ‘resume’ event is remaining scheduled.”
I have run backups without the uploads directory, but how do I fix this for future backups?
[UPDATE #1: I tried again and found this in the log file:
0000.050 (0) Looking for candidates to backup in: /home/pharm/public_html/wp-content/uploads 0000.051 (0) PHP event: code E_WARNING: opendir(/home/pharm/public_html/wp-content/uploads): failed to open dir: No such file or directory (line 4329, wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/class-updraftplus.php) 0000.052 (0) ERROR: Could not read the directory: /home/pharm/public_html/wp-content/uploads 0000.054 (0) An error condition has occurred for the first time during this job 0000.055 (0) No backup of uploads: there was nothing found to backup
]
I installed File Manager and can see the uploads directory, and it’s set to “Read and Write” just like the other directories. I can’t tell you the CHMOD but it just says words “Read and Write.” The site is hosted on GoDaddy.
[UPDATE #2: The problem is that people think GoDaddy is a webhost. I will get this resolved through the client and the host. PLEASE don’t use GoDaddy for hosting!!!

Please close the ticket.
Thank you.
P.S. SUGGESTION: I would just love it if I could enter a note on a locked backup, to tell me when it’s okay to delete it. That would help SO much. Thanks!
