It’s odd. When I enable the Sportpress plugin then enable WP debug, I see this error at the top of the site:

“Notice: is_tax was called incorrectly. Conditional query tags do not work before the query is run. Before then, they always return false.”

It seems the resolution from others seeing this message was to find the a plugin conflict. I systematically enabled and disabled each plugin and found this:

The only time when the error show sup is when BOTH Sportspress and Beaver Themer is enabled. When only one of them is activated, there is no issue. So I went to another site running only Beaver Themer and does not have Sportpress. No errors.

Has this been reported and is there a fix?

    Thanks!

  • Hi there!

    THanks for reahcing out.

As this happens only when you have the beaver builder this seems like a conflict indeed.

But do you notice any missing functionalities? Notices are pretty harmless and should cause no big issues in your site.

    Thanks!

Is this in the front end, or the backend ?
Are all your plugins, core, php version up to date ?
I manage two sites that have BB and SportsPress installed, both run without any conflict or console errors :
