    Dear customer,

Could you please give us (to [email protected]) admin access to your site, by indicating the forum post link in your email subject. We’ll look into your issues as soon as possible.

@huge IT? That’s a bit too far and you really need to try some troubleshooting first. I do not recommend that anyone hand over their installation like that.

When you get access like that you become responsible for the user’s installation and if anything breaks are you ready to fix it and provide support going forward?

When you enable debug do you see those errors on your installation? If not can you work with michal.gregorczyk here to resolve this?

Dear user and WordPress volunteer, we have not faced the mentioned issue during the test, so we are not aware of the causes of this issue. This might be either template related issue or conflict with another plugin. We will require temporary Admin access to check it out and solve it. And if the problem is our plugin-related we plan to release an update with the fix, so that our future users will not face it. We want our user to have the best user experience and are doing our best to fix their issue as soon as possible. Thank you

Yes, I get that. You still should not ask for that access. It’s too far and is something that’s been discussed in support before.

Support Team Update for January 30th

See the part about “Plugin or theme authors requesting FTP or mysql access from users”? That also applies to admin access. Asking for that is going too far.

I know you are trying to support your user but there are other steps you can try first like this:

@michal.gregorczyk When you temporarily switch to the Twenty Fourteen theme and disable all other plugins, do you still get that error?

    hi there,

I just tried this out and get the same issues.
Some variables are undefined, namely addslide, removeslide.

Defining these variables with NULL value at the start may resolve these errors.

Notice: Undefined index: removeslide in /media/DriveD/sdb1/www/www.faribasoltani.dev/wp-content/plugins/slider-image/sliders.php on line 192

Notice: wpdb::prepare was called incorrectly. The query argument of wpdb::prepare() must have a placeholder. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 3.9.) in /media/DriveD/sdb1/www/www.faribasoltani.dev/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3245

    A prepared statement requires parameters.

Also I cannot amend the basic slider options on the right hand side of the test slider. I cannot copy the code tags in the basic usage fields.

so until these items can be fixed I am going to have to return to this plug in at a later date.

    thanks

    Andi
