    Hello,

I use a plugin called WPSiteSync to synchronize content across two WordPress sites. https://wpsitesync.com/

When CleanTalk is activated, I get the following error message if using WPSiteSync:

“WPSiteSync for Content is not installed and activated on Target site.”

The plugin works if I deactivate CleanTalk. Is there a way I could add SiteSync’s API call to the exclusions list so that it doesn’t get blocked by CleanTalk?

Please let me know if you need further info to troubleshoot this problem.

  • You can do one of two things:

    1. If you can whitelist IP addresses in CleanTalk, you can whitelist the Source site’s IP and that should allow the API calls.

    2. If you can whitelist an endpoint, all WPSiteSync API calls go to domain.com?pagename=wpsitesync_api – so whitelisting that should work.

    All the best,
    The ServerPress Team

Thank you! Whitelisting the regular expression “wpsitesync_api” worked.
