    hello,

    I wrote a text for the pre-filled message, saved then changed it and saved again and it has not updated. I tried purging the site and the browser’s cache, deactivating and reactivating the plugin and deleting it and reinstalling it, nevertheless the message is the same. I use litespeed on my wordpress and that usually eliminates all remaining cache, but somehow its not working here. I cannot leave it up as the message is not correct, so even though you’ll be able to see my site, the icon is not there at the moment, any suggestions?

    Hi,

    1. is the prefilled message is not saving at admin side?
    please check the browser console if any errors exists.
    or please test in browser incognito mode.

    2. issue: front end its not appearing.
    It might be due to
    * plugin cache
    * server side cache (if available)
    * CDN cache (if available)

    The changes seem to save when changed, but the hover text never worked I wanted it to say Whatsapp, not Whatsapp us, but the changes did not take place, so I just disabled it. The problem is the pre filled message, I miss read the explanation, thought it was an auto response, so the text reads as “we’ll get back to you as soon as possible” message. I deleted the object cache, the front end cache, even used an option that is not recommended to be used oftenly by litespeed cache which is called empty entire cache, it tends to cause problems sometimes because it is quite harsh and nothing seems to change the old pre filled message to the new.

    PD. No CDN cache, incognito shows same result the old message, console shows no issues

    Hi,

    prefilled message is the text that appeared on WhatsApp chat window.
    user need to manually send that message. plugin wont send the message directly.

    The setting is not reflecting at front end:

    • it might be due to cache issue
    • if the site is multilingual (wpml, polylang). please clear/update the string translation settings.

    Thank you, i did not think of checking polylang, yes it was a string that had not been updated in the database. Thanks again.
