Error with no error

  • Hello,

    for a few weeks now, i have error message even if everything is working fine (the backup is on my FTP).
    In addition, i saw that my database is backuped 3 times. I have set to only one try. But i still get error messages in my logs :

    Hi @chezmat,
    Please go to BackWPup > Settings > Jobs, try to set Maximum Script Execution Time setting to about 25 seconds.
    If it not works, please show me your server configuration by go to BackWPUp -> Settings -> Infomation -> and press “Get debug info”

    Sorry for my late reply, actually I don’t get this issue before, so the problem is you got the backup file, but there is an error thrown?

    Hi,

    I have two issues :
    – the backup is done X times (X is according the number of try into the settings).
    – I got errors into the logs, but the backup seems fine (i didn’t try to restore the database thought).

    Did you try with another destination like Dropbox or Amazon S3, did you get the same error?

    One last try, please go to BackWPUp -> ?Jobs -> choose your job -> Archive Format -> change to another format like Tar.Gzip or BZip2, is there is any difference?

    With tar.GZip still “ERROR: Step aborted: too many attempts!”
    But i have strange bugs. When i change compression and save settings, destination (dropbox) was deleted. I need to set destination and save to launch task.

    hmm, please go to BackWPUp -> Settings -> Jobs -> Maximum number of retries for job steps -> set to 5 then run the job again
