    Hi there,

I got recently several Emails from Google that there is something wrong with my news-sitemap.

In total it’s 8 errors: First says there is no XML-Tag. The other 7 refer to “instance” missing something..

Maybe someone can give me a clue what’s happening there. I just realised that new articles I write do not even show up at google any more… Not in the News and also not in the classic Google…

    THX a log

    Hi there!

Can you please make sure that you don’t have any SEO or sitemap generating plugins installed? Those plugins are known to interfere with the sitemaps generated by Jetpack. If you do, temporarily disable them and see if the issue is resolved.

Also, make sure you’re using the latest Jetpack version.

    Hello,

thanks for your reply… I deactivated the option in WPSeo and entered the Sitemaps again at google…

Now I get just one more error… “Missing XML-Tag”

The other 7 errors are gone?!?

    It’s the latest jetpack!

Looking closely at your sitemaps, it seems that both are actually empty. Since your last full Jetpack sync was 11 months ago, I’d recommend initiating new sync now.

For that, first, please disconnect and reconnect Jetpack as explained here:

    https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/

After this is done, click here and initiate manual sync:

Let us know if that helped.
