• Resolved webvasport

    I was with this app in my website working correctly, but since January it isn’t, so I tried to fix it putting another API Key of Mailchimp but it says “There was an error fetching the data. Please review your settings and try again.”

    I tried with some API Keys news but it doesn’t work, I need to fix it ’cause I need to collect the information of my clients.

    Hope you are doing well!

    Are there any other plugins on your site that using Mailchimp? Please deactivate them and try again. If this will not work, please run a quick check for a conflict with another plugin.

    Deactivate all plugins, besides Hustle and see if API key is connecting to Mailchimp. If everything is well, activate one plugin at a time to find the one that causes this.

    Just in case, please back up your site, so if something will go wrong site can be restored.

    Thanks Nastia, it’s fetching, but now when i’m trying to collect an email appear “Something went wrong,please try again.”

    Did you try with an email that you haven’t tried in the past? Even if you had used it before and manually deleted it from the list, it can’t be re-used via the API.

    Also, let us know if this setup is in the popup that we see on the homepage or if you’re having another testing page for that. ??

    I was able to see the same error in my end.

    I tried everything but it doesn’t work well, but my embed it’s working so I don’t know what’s happening with my pop-up.

    Could you please check that the form fields you have in Hustle are also in the MailChimp fields in the list you select? As these should be in both places and using the same name.
    You can compare this with the working embed, as long as they use the same MailChimp list.

    Yes, the form fields that I have in Hustle are the same in MailChimp fields.
    I compared my fields of the embed with my fields of the slide-in and are the same, I don’t know what is happening with this.

    I wanted to check it again on your site, but I don’t see any popup there. If you disabled it for now, can you maybe create a test page and enable it there and give us a link?

    Hi,

    The truth, it’s still failing, I tried with the pop-up and with the slide option but it doesn’t work, the stranger part is that my embed it’s working, so I don’t know if it’s a pluggin error or a API Key error, but I think that it’s not my API Key ’cause the embed it’s working well.

    I apologize for the late reply in this thread. Please enable WordPress debug and try to replicate this issue. Please deactivate all the other plugins during this test (just in case create a backup of your site or do this test on a staging site). If there are any PHP errors, a debug.log will be created that can point us in the right direction. Place the following to the wp-config.php file:

    
    define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );
    define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );
    define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false );
    

    Make sure that you insert these lines above/* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */. Replicate Something went wrong. Please try again. on your site. This way all errors will be saved in the debug.log file inside the /wp-content/ directory. Please upload this file to Google Drive or DropBox.
