I installed the plugin a few days ago and successfully used it to compress a bunch of images on one of my multisite sites. I upgraded the plugin this morning and went to activate it on another one of the multisites sites but got this message after clicking the ‘activate’ link…
    ———————
This plugin requires WordPress 4.0 or greater, and PHP 5.4 or greater. You are currently running WordPress 4.3.1 and PHP 5.3.10-1ubuntu3.21. Please contact your website host or server administrator for more information. The plugin has been deactivated.

Was there a change in the most recent plugin release that makes it incompatible with my version of php? If so is there any way to get a copy of the previous version of the plugin so that I can use it while I wait for my host to take care of the php upgrade.

Oddly it still seems to be active on the original multisite site.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Sorry to hear you are having problems.

We did not make any big changes that could explain this message. Could you perhaps contact us via [email protected] and send us a screenshot of the error you get?

    Hi,

Just curious if you found out what is going wrong. We still support WordPress 4.0 and PHP 5.3 so we are curious why you are having this problem.

You can download previous versions from: https://github.com/tinify/wordpress-plugin/releases

Please note that you have to rename the wordpress-plugin folder to tiny-compress-images in order to get the plugin working.
