Error with Event Players

    Here is an example scenario with the error:

    I have an event created.
    It is for Spartans vs Eagles.
    The Competition is set as only “2017”.

    In Team player list for Spartans, there is a player who has competition set to only “2016”.

    By setting the Event competition to 2017, this should automatically hide the 2016 player.

    If anyone could supply me the code to fix this, I could use it ASAP. Thanks!

    Thanks for getting in touch, and sorry for the delay (I’m still struggling with this new support system that WP rolled out)

    Anyway, in your case I’d double check if the player doesn’t have any match at all for Spartans in 2017. The easiest way to do this is set all matches by Spartans in 2017 as draft temporarily just to see how it works.

    BTW, if you could send us an example of this issue it’s better to know what is going on

    Hi Roch,

    I made a test setup to showcase the problem. It seems to be the problem is when pulling the players for a team, it is ignoring the Season value.

    Here is a test player, Timmy Tester. Notice he is on Bug Hunters in Division 3, but only for season W2015-2016.

    Then I created a new match with Bug Hunters, with the Season W2016-2017.

    Notice Timmy still shows up. That is completely incorrect by basic “IF-AND-OR” logic. The seasons do not match up.

    Hopefully you can fix this in the next release, but in the meantime I will need to know where to fix this as my league managers are complaining heavily.

    Hello,

    I found the problem was “Filter by Season / Filter by Competition” was unchecked in SportsPress > Settings > Events.
