The Simple Ajax works when the shortcode is inserted through a regular PAGE or POST but does not work when I add the shortcode to the Elementor Pop Up modal.

Please help. I have pasted the error from the Google console.

Thanks for reporting. Is there a way to download Elementor for free (i.e., no registration or email required) so I can take a closer look. If not, you will need to contact Elementor hopefully they can help.

Let me spin you up a website on my dedicated server and I will recreate the issue I am running into with Elementor Pro.

That’s fine, but understand we are not allowed to log in to any client sites. The most I can do is take a look at any public page(s).

Ah, ok, what email should I use to send you the page URL?

Just to follow up with this, for the sake of anyone else reading, the chat box shortcode must be included on a post or page. It will not work if included in a modal/popup window. Modal support is not included with the plugin at this time.

Using Elementor I created a Popup and inserted the shortcode, and it is working fine. Jeff did you make any changes to allow this or did I get lucky? Elementor Popups are not pages or posts.

Sorry, it does not work in the modal popup. The shortcode displays that chat perfectly in the popup, but errors when using the chat in the popup. This would have been great if had worked in the popup.

Changes have been made to the plugin, but nothing specific to this particular issue. In any case, glad it’s working now.
