This is the error message that comes up when I try to open my Home page. If I deactivate the plugin then it is accessible. But I have no way to obtain email addresses.

    Hi @bhortin

It seems like the form is missing some of its meta data, or the data didn’t save properly, to fully construct what we’re needing for the signup.

One thing to double check and confirm is if the ID value 1579 is actually the ID for the form you created. It may be for something completely different, like a different post, or something not typically seen in the UI.

Alternatively, it may not hurt to try making a second form and trying that one out instead, hoping that all the appropriate meta data saves for it, and we don’t encounter the issue again.

In the meantime, I’m going to file an internal issue around this error, so that we can better protect a site going down like this. I’d rather it show some sort of admin-only message or just nothing at all instead of the errors above.

Also, you should be able to get the entire site recovered if you remove the shortcode or Gutenberg block from where you placed it, while still allowing to keep the plugin active at least.
