Error with comments section of Blog

  • Hello, we are experiencing an issue with the comments feature on our blog posts. Firstly, when someone tries a leave a comment, they are unable to do so and receive the error message “the message text can’t be empty”. Further, the comments function completely disappeared from our article “Ultimate Guide to the Jatbula”.

    Can you please advise a solution to these issues?

    Hello there,

    So sorry you’re struggling with this. Let’s see if we can get to the bottom of this. I went to your site and tested the form and got the same error. I also see that the Jatbula Trail post is missing the comment function.

    I have a couple questions:

    Are you using any plugins that impact/manage commenting?
    Have you recently added any plugins to your site?
    Which theme are you running?

    Hi Santana,

    Thanks for getting in touch so quickly.

    The only plugin I can think of that may impaact/manage commenting would be Antispam Bee. We have recently added Smush (to compress photos) and Spotlight (to add our Instagram feed).

    We are using the Vagabonds theme by ThemeForest.
