    Hi,

A client of mine was trying to contact me thru CF7 on Chrome iOS and he wasn’t able to sent the message.
I checked on my iPhone and got the same issue. After several tests I found out that it was the honeypot.

    Any suggestion?

Is there something on the iPhone that is auto-filling in fields? The verification for the honeypot is pretty straight-forward — if the field is empty it passes, if the field has anything in it, it fails.

Also, what testing did you do to confirm that it was the honeypot that’s causing the message to fail sending?

    Hi Ryan,

No, I filled manually the fields, I didn’t use an autofill.
The problem appears with Chrome only, Safari works fine. Both me and my client had the same issue.
I removed the honeypot tag and CF7 worked. Then I tried to put it back and got the error again.

I just pushed an update that includes the disabling of a browser’s autocomplete functionality. That’s the only thing I can think it might be. Please test when you’re able to (remember to clear browser cache) and see if that fixes the problem.

    Hi Ryan,

I updated to the latest version, and it seems to work fine now on Safari iOS

    Thank you
