    Hi.

I have an error popup window show up at the beginning of a scan, (“an error occurred. A scan is already running. Use the kill link if you would like to terminate the current scan”).

but the scan runs through to the end with seemingly no issues.

Any idea what I would be looking for to remove the error popup?

    Thanks.

It’s possible that an automatic scan was already running at the time, since they normally run once per day.

Has it happened more than once? If so, you could try reinstalling Wordfence — if you have had it installed for a while, it’s possible that changes at your hosting company have affected your files or database, and that would give you a fresh start.

If you do decide to reinstall it, you can turn on the option “Delete Wordfence tables and data on deactivation” before disabling it, to clear your settings. If you don’t want to lose the settings, blocked IPs, etc., you can use the “Export Wordfence Settings” option at the bottom of the options page, and save the token it gives you, so you can import it after reinstalling.

WFMattR: thank you friend helped me your answer, you are very good!
Here in Brazil, support for Wordfence Security is very weak.
