Error whilst trying to change domain name

    Whilst trying to remove the domain name from my website to put it on another service, I was subsequently logged out of my website and unable to get back in.

    None of my logins appear to be working and I am unable to retrieve a password to get back into the site.

    When I try (for example) examplesite.co.uk/wp-admin, I am immediately redirected to the WordPress website.

    Help!!

    how are you removing the domain name exactly? are you migrating host?

    I’m moving my domain name to a website created on NationBuilder (from WordPress).

    I typed in a default “example”.wordpress.co.uk and then I was logged out.

    From that, will I be able to transfer the domain name to NationBuilder when I’m able to access my account?

    if you own the domain and its hosted should work

    But I am still unable to gain access to my account. I have sent multiple password reset requests but I am not receiving anything?!

    where are you trying to get the password reset requests from ?

    get into your c panel. if you cant get into there for transfer then you will need to contact hosting provider. Most will do it for free

    I am trying to reset my password from the WordPress site but I am not receiving anything.

    I tried to transfer my domain on Easyspace but that didn’t either. This is very frustrating.

    check spam ? or maybe its a data base issue i have seen this before with admin emails not updating on some hosts. Look in the database under wp_user and make sure emails are right

    Nothing in spam. Where do I find the database? I can’t get into the account using any of the account details that I have…

    Data base is in the c panel option of your hosting account..under phpmyadmin..Before you start editing database please back it up.

    If you are unable to get into c panel please contact your hosting provider customer support or hire someone to call them lol
