Hello. I’m having problems while uploading images. No matter what type or image size I try with, I get this error.

“An unexpected error occured. This is most likely due to a server misconfiguration. Check your PHP error log or ask your hosting provider for assistance. 0 images uploaded”

If I look into the error log, this is what it says:

[Tue Oct 28 21:55:35 2014] [error] [client --my ip address--] Attempted to upload image/jpeg., referer: https://www.xxx.yyy/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ngg_addgallery

@maldonado – would you mind trying an update to your permalinks to see if that helps? Go to Settings > Permalinks in your WordPress dashboard and set them to ‘post name’ > save changes. Does that help?

If it does not, check into your server settings under Gallery > Overview and make sure you’re running an up to date version of MySQL & PHP (MySQL 5.4 and PHP 5.3 at least), and you have sufficient memory, 128 – 256MB is a good amount. Check your Page and Upload size, they should be at least 10MB or more.

Thanks for answering. The permalinks were like that. As far as MySQL and PHP, I cannot upgrade them since they are in a shared server. The parameters that I have are this:

    MYSQL : 5.1.68-log
    Versión de PHP : 5.3.27
    PHP Memory Limit : 256
    PHP upload Maximum : 40M

@maldonado – Looking at your site’s page source I am not seeing some expected scripts and style sheets NextGEN Gallery needs being loaded … this would generally point to a conflict with another plugin or possibly something may be corrupted in the installation of the plugin itself.

You can try re-installing by manually uploading a fresh copy of NextGEN Gallery via FTP and over-writing all files and folders under /plugins/nextgen-gallery/.

If this doesn’t help, then you can check for conflicts with your other active plugins and see if that points to any possible solutions.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.
