error while upgrading to 3.3…

    I have done all the necessary backups of files & databases but while upgrading it asks for my ftp details & after entering the correct details i get this error:
    Error: There was an error connecting to the server, Please verify the settings are correct.
    i think it could be problem with the file permissions but somebody just guide me what i have to do next?

  • Why they update wordpress since they know is going to cause lots problems to people are working with they’re website!

    Ever since I have started using wordpress 2.9 to present I have not had any problem updating and if you follow the steps wordpress recommends then there should be no problems.

    Its not wordpress to blame is other plugins and themes you have installed that cause the problem as they may not be compatible with the update.
