Hi, i have my website in german language and Date Picker filter and Search Event Type are not being translated. The Search Event Type filter I translated it into the code. In the Date Picker the placeholder results a button “SELECT DATE RANGE”. I tried to translate it into the code but I couldn’t and when you click on it, the Apply and Clear remain always in english.
Could you please help me ?

Here is a screenshot of what i am saying. https://ibb.co/FBLV5Xr

    Best Regards
    Julian

@pranavjadli06 I have archived your reply. Do not ever ask for access to a user’s site again. Your account is now flagged.

If you or anyone working with @wpeventmanager @ashokdudhat @krinay ask any forum user for access to their site then you will lose access to these forums and the plugin may be at risk of being removed from the WordPress repo.

You need to reply to this topic that you understand that you and your co-workers will not repeat that again. This is very serious.

While I know you have the best of intentions, it’s forum policy that you not ask users for admin or server access. Users on the forums aren’t your customers, they’re your open source collaborators, and requesting that kind of access can put you and them at high risk.

If they are paying customers (such as people who bought a premium service/product from you) then by all means, direct them to your official customer support system. But in all other cases, you need to help them here on the forums.

Thankfully are other ways to get information you need:

    You get the idea.

We know volunteer support is not easy, and this guideline can feel needlessly restrictive. It’s actually there to protect you as much as end users. Should their site be hacked or have any issues after you accessed it, you could be held legally liable for damages. In addition, it’s difficult for end users to know the difference between helpful developers and people with malicious intentions. Because of that, we rely on plugin developers and long-standing volunteers (like you) to help us and uphold this particular guideline.

When you help users here and in public, you also help the next person with the same problem. They’ll be able to read the debugging and solution and educate themselves. That’s how we get the next generation of developers.

    Hi @jdembowski

I am sorry and apologize on behalf of Pranav, for what happened, and shall be taken care of with utmost responsibility so that this will not happen again.

The Admin details or any other confidential details shall never be asked by us or our co-workers, again on this forum. Thank you for understanding, and giving us an opportunity to help better.

    Regards,
    Priya(Support Head)

@priyagoenka I want to be clear here: If you ask a forum user to contact you on your site to get around the prohibition, you and the other plugin support people will be banned from this site.

I have archived your ask for off forum contact. Read the reply and follow the steps there to help a forum user.
