Error While Saving – While Writing a New Blog Post

For the past few months when I have gone to write up a new article to post to my blog at the bottom right hand corner of the editor I get the message “Error while saving.” Which continues to flash as I continue to write out the article.

I am also unable to upload images, .doc, and .pdf files into the posts.

Needless to say this consistent nagging error has greatly inhibited my adding of consistent fresh content to my site, which in the long run is bad for business.

**I am running WorPress.org Version 4.2.2 and am using the Genesis Framework**

I am far from being the expert that many of you are here, and I would very much appreciate any help and suggestions any of you might be able and willing to provide.
