Hello Scott. After reading your last posts at core.trac I came across your two plugins, RS Head Cleaner Lite & RS Head Cleaner Plus. Not making many words, telling what I did:

Installed both of them to a site. Activated the ‘lite’ to see what happens. It did break my site. Did some tests, still not working, but that’s ok, because I already do a lot in a childtheme’s function.php, and also have some other plugins running.
After that I didn’t expect the ‘plus’ version to run fine, but, no risk, no fun, so tried, but failed the same.

Ok, let’s uninstall these 2. Clicked both to ‘batch’ uninstall, and then I got this:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare rshcp_scandir() (previously declared in /var/www/web33/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/rs-head-cleaner-lite/uninstall.php:47) in /var/www/web33/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/rs-head-cleaner/uninstall.php on line 47

I guess it’s because you don’t expect somebody to have the plugins installed both the same time, and then delete them at one time. But, this just happened, and shouldn’t throw an error, I’d say.

I totally appreciate your input regarding security, btw, would not know what I knew better then you in this area, however.

    Thank you for your effort!

    Hey Presskopp,

Great to hear from you again. ??

Yeah, you’re not really supposed to use them at the same time, lol. That’s what caused the issue. We’re making some upgrades that will allow you to use both versions from one plugin.

We’ll make some fixes in the meantime to prevent the issue you’re reporting. Thanks for letting me know.

Thank you for the positive feedback both about security and the plugin. ??

Feel free to get in touch via our site’s contact form. It would be great to email back and forth with you on some of those topics.

    – Scott
