    Hi. I keep getting the error message: Error while calling OpenAI: You exceeded your current quota, please check your plan and billing details.

    But I have not reach the limit yet, as this is a new account and a new api.

    How can I solve this problem?

    Hi @dennistd,

    I am sorry, I am not actually working for OpenAI, and I am not related to them. If you are getting this error, is that indeed OpenAI believes you are over the quota.

    Have you checked your usage in your account on their website?

    To be honest, I am not so sure; I don’t have a free account (I used to, but that was a long time ago). Maybe someone else will know something about this?

    That said, the “Free trial” section indicates 0$ out of 0$, so maybe you don’t have any free credits?
