Error while activating Premium Feed to Post

    I am running:

    PHP 5.4
    Wordpress 4.4.1
    WP Rss Aggregator 4.7
    Feed to Post(premium) 3.6

    I am getting the following error trying to activate the premium Feed to Post plugin. I was also experiencing a similar error with the WP Rss Aggregator itself and so had to downgrade to 4.7.

    my error:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home1/rootfolder/public_html/mywebsite/wp-content/plugins/wp-rss-feed-to-post/wp-rss-feed-to-post.php on line 108
