Error when webinar didn't start yet

  • I don’t know if many people have this, but I will post it just in case. Maybe it helps the developers if it is a bug.

    When somebody wants to join a session that didn’t start yet, a box appears with the message to wait and that the browser will automatically refresh.

    However the .gif picture is not shown and the browser doesn’t refresh.

    I managed to fix this by editing the bigbluebutton-plugin.php file. On lines 630 and 656 I simply removed the ‘.’ from the beginning of the ref url, so it starts with “/wp-content…” instead of “./wp-content…”.

    Not sure why this is happening to you, but making the URL relative to the root will require that wordpress is installed right there, in your site root. With the “./” wordpress can be anywhere and the links should work.

    In fact, it is working for me right now in a demo server.

    I’ll take a look, but I don’t think there should be changed anyways.
