    Hi.
    When I update to yoast 20.4 I get this error:

    Warning: require_once(/XXX/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/vendor/composer/autoload_real.php): Failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /XXX/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/vendor/autoload.php on line 5

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Failed opening required '/XXX/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/vendor/composer/autoload_real.php' (include_path='.:/opt/cpanel/ea-php80/root/usr/share/pear') in /XXX/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/vendor/autoload.php:5 Stack trace: #0 /XXX/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/wp-seo-main.php(75): require() #1 /XXX/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/wp-seo.php(50): require_once('/XXX/…') #2 /XXX/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php(2314): include_once('/XXX/…') #3 /XXX/wp-admin/plugins.php(192): plugin_sandbox_scrape('wordpress-seo/w…') #4 {main} thrown in /XXX/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/vendor/autoload.php on line 5

    If I go back to version 20.3 it doesn’t happen, what could be happening?

    @matador9 We’re sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue on your site.

    We understand you are getting the “failed to open stream: No such file or directory in” error message after a plugin update. This issue occurs when the plugin installation or update couldn’t complete correctly. The fatal error is telling you that the plugin couldn’t find one of the core Yoast SEO plugin files. In this case, could you please reinstall it manually to see if this resolves the issue?

    You can learn more about how to update manually using FTP here: How to manually update a Yoast plugin using FTP. You will need an FTP program such as FileZilla and your FTP details, which can be obtained from your host provider.

    Reinstalling it solved it.
    Thank you.
