Error When updating to 3.18.0

    Hello I am getting this error to the few of our site when I update Elementor and Elementor Pro today

    “Elementor\Element_Section::handle_control_position: Cannot add a control outside of a section (use ‘start_controls_section’).”

  • Seems to have issues with 3.18.0. You can revert to 3.17.3 from Tools -> Version Control. That will fix the issue until they release a new update.

    Same thing here, i rolledback to previous

    Had the same error and rolled back to 3.17.3. The latest released version 3.18.1 also giving the same error. If anyone got a fix, please update.

    Update: I figured out that my Metform had a conflict with the new version. After deactivating the plugins, it works fine.

    Just like @sandpradhan, Metform was my issue as well. However it was Metform Pro. I disabled the Pro and left just the standard plugin run and the site ran just fine.

    Same here Metform Pro was my problem, I don’t even use it not sure why it was there but thank you for everybody who mentioned Metform
