Error When trying to save file from editor

  • Hi,
    I didn’t save anything since few weeks so I can’t tell you if the issue is with wordpress 4.9.3 or earlier.

    However, today I tried to edit my css file and a php file with the wordpress editor, but when I try to save the file I got this error : “Something went wrong. Your change may not have been saved. Please try again. There is also a chance that you may need to manually fix and upload the file over FTP”.

    Furthermore, when I update my plugins I got an error like, success:true… But when I refresh the page my plugins are updated.

  • Sounds like theme or plugin related errors. Please visit your theme’s/plugin’s support pages and see if anyone else is having similar issues. Or try WordPress’ Health Check plugin to see if there are any errors.

    Wordpress 4.9.4 fixed plugins update, however, I still have the issue with the files.
