error when trying to log in webpage admin

  • Hi All

    I have a question.
    Everytime I try to access editing mode on my webpage https://sinorlines.com/
    It says that I have attempt to many times, though, I haven’t even tried.

    first time its said i needed to wait for 9 hours before try again, and this time it says 24 hours.

    what do I do, and who can I contact from wordpress, as I am not able to fix this problem by myself.

    Hi,

    You should be able to see them via FTP or a file manager. They would be located in sinorlines.com/wp-content/plugins.

    Disable plugins, and hopefully that will let you in the admin. Try:

    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – If you can’t get into your admin dashboard, try resetting the plugins folder by FTP. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems. Also remember to deactivate any plugins in the mu-plugins folder (if you have created such folder). The easiest way is to rename that folder to mu-plugins-old.

    As I can’t log in to the Dashboard, and therefore not able to disable the plugins. I have looked into the plugin folder, but it seems like there are no plugins.

    I need to log in, in order to upload a schedule on the webpag, which is important for our communication to customers.
    I have seen your previous reply. but when i go into the folder, there are not any plugins from my website.

    Is it possible to use FileZila`?

    Yes. It’s one of the FTP client.
