Error when trying to import jpg and png files – what to do?

  • Hi – Something goes wrong when I try to upload jpgs and pngs to my media library. The pictures appears as small questions marks. The name of the pictures are recognized but I can’t edit them nor use them on any pages, headers etc.

    I doesn’t work though I get no error messages of any kind. Have tried to upload is all the ways possible.

    Anyone have a clue what to do here?

  • Are these images present in the wp-content/uploads/ folder if you FTP into your site to see the physical files?

    yes they are all there when I look in the filemanager – following this path: wp-content/uploads//2014/10
