    Hi everyone,

    I just set up Subscribe to Category. Everything seems to work fine, when I select a category and click on subscribe, I also receive a confirmation email, asking me to click a link to confirm my subscription.
    However, this is where I get this error message: `Confirmation email [email protected] is not in the [update_]approval state

    Does anyone have any clue why I keep getting this error message?

    No it is new for me.
    Please create a new subscriber. Then open the subscriber list and tell me what the status is of the subscriber.

    Then also please forward me the contents of the link in the email send to the subscriber

    Alright, so I subscribed newly to the feed via the form/widget.
    The status of the user is “approval”.
    And the contents of the E-Mail are as follows:

    Folge diesem Link, um dein Abonnement zu aktivieren
    Can I ping you the link somewhere privat? The E-Mail-Adress is in it and I don’t want to “blow that information out” into the internet :).

    LS,
    After carefull investigation it appears that in your situation / configuration received url’s from the confirmation email is processed twices. This happens only when your cashing configuration is processing the received URL for the first time.
    STC is now marking the system time on receival of the first confirmation. If a second confirmation url is received for a particular subscriber STC will ignore url’s for a period of maximum 3 seconds.

    Version 2.7.1. is now released with this fix.
