Error when switching to another user

    When i try to switch to another user from the admin account in the admin topbar, I get this error:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_plugin_active() in /home/serahlee/public_html/staging/wp/wp-content/plugins/fast-user-switching/fast-user-switching.php on line 684

    May I know how to resolve this?

    @supertiny,

    Thank you for your feedback, we’ve checked this plugin in the WordPress new version 5.1 and the earlier versions, but we can not see any problem here, even this function(is_plugin_active()) is working just as well.

    Will you update your WordPress version?

    If you still have problems then let us know. Another thing please let us know about your WordPress+PHP version of details.

    WP 5.11 php 7
    Return back-the error disappears. The selection of the second user sends tо first.
    How to fix?
