• I’m encountering this error on multiple forms across multiple site I manage.

So far the pages with forms I’ve found this error on include:

    https://www.truevikingfinance.ca/get-in-touch/
    https://www.truevikingfinance.ca/tell-me-about-your-business/
    https://easycozy.ca/contactus/

The error seems to be that the plugin outputs a loading icon, indicating the form is not sending, however one of my clients (for the truevikingfinance site) did reply back indicating the forms were sending in spite of the feedback that they weren’t. Still waiting on confirmation on whether or not the easycozy site’s form is being received by the client.

I’ve tested with turning off W3 Total Cache in case it was a caching issue – error persists

I tried turning off CF7 Invisible reCAPTCHA in case this plugin, or Google Recaptcha itself was the culprit – issue persists.

Both the above plugins had recent updates that could predate the start of this issue. All other plugins either would not affect CF7, are not common to both sites, or have not been updated in the right time frame to be a possible cause of this problem.

Given the results of the above tests, it’s likely this issue is the result of a bug introduced in the update I installed on both problem sites on August 10.

What other plugins and theme do you use on the site?

The plugins most likely to affect the forms are:

    • CF7 Invisible reCAPTCHA
    • Login Security reCAPTCHA
    • Really Simple SSL
    • W3 Total Cache

    The theme is Thesis

The same configuration of plugins and theme were all present long before this issue started up.

The other site I’m having this issue with (easycozy.ca) uses a different theme (GrandSpa) but otherwise has a similar mix plugins and is having the same issue, which started up around the same time.

Update: I hadn’t updated the plugin in a while as I was off work for for the past few weeks, but running a test of the form again right after the update, I’m still seeing the same issue, the form is stuck in an infinite loading screen and the form does not appear to submit. I’m awaiting confirmation from my client whether or not they received the form submission email.

I do understand your frustration, but this could be called support extortion,
it is not acceptable on www.remarpro.com forums.
Please be polite, for free plugin available from plugin directory, everyone is volunteering their free time, including plugin author.

You are right, I’ve been dealing with this issue on about a dozen sites I manage, with clients losing an unknown amount of money, myself included, due to emails not being sent for over a month and seeing no communication other then the same questions over and over in the forums, and my frustration just boiled over, finally. I’ve been under pressure from my clients to get their contact forms fixed and not seeing anything happen nor any sign of any bug fixes in sight.

    I do apologize for that.

At any rate, I have run every test and change I can from my end and get no change, the plugin still fails to perform it’s basic functionality, which means it is absolutely a bug in the code of an update pushed out in either late July or early August, as that’s when my clients first started reporting this problem.
